In order to retain Maharashtra as the top destination for industrial investment, the government has decided to launch an e-platform to give speedy permissions required for setting up industries in the state. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has assured a delegation of European Union (EU) that his government would facilitate a hassle-free investment.
“We have initiated steps to provide all facilities to investors willing to set up industries in the state. It would be our endeavor to reduce the number of permissions. We will soon start an e-platform through which investors can get permissions in quickly,” Mr Fadnavis said. “Our endeavour will be to ensure the state remains number one under Centre’s ‘Make in India’ initiative,” he added.
