MIDC has taken a long awaited step towards problems faced by Large scale Industrial Projects by granting extension of Land Development period from 2 years to 4 years. All the proposed as well as existing projects are to benefit from this new circular.
An MOU with the Maharashtra Government can also be sighted in case of delays in implementation of proposed plans.

This extension period will also be applicable for existing projects who are yet to obtain Building completion certificates.

Maharashtra Govt. acting through its nodal agency MIDC has recently announced few crucial measures for the growth of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME)  

50% discount in Land Rates

Under Maharashtra Government's MSE-CDP Small & Medium scale industries will get 50 % concession in official Land rates of MIDC for Land area upto 5000 sq.m.

and under Central Govt.'s IIUS scheme, MSEs will get similar concessions for Land area upt0 2000 sq.m.


10% of Land in New Industrial Area 

10% land of the MIDC's newly acquired or planned Industrial area will be reserved for MSE sector. 5% of this reserved area would be for Female Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurs from Scheduled tribes and Businesses promoted by Female Self-Help Groups.
